KEEPING SAFE DURING COVID-19

Now more than ever is the time to be extra precautious when it comes to our own health and safety. Covid-19, the virus with no cure as of yet has forced us all to take measures into our own hands whether it be using hand sanitizer regularly, wearing protective gear or simply staying at home; we’ve all had to adapt to a new way of living in order to protect ourselves as well as others from the spread of this virus.
In light of this, Janson Beauty has been on a mission to ensure that we have all the necessary equipment stocked up not just for our staff but for our customers to benefit from as well. We have recently launched our new catalogue of Health Care products all aimed to protect from and prevent the spread of Covid-19. We have stocked a number of different hand sanitizers, gloves and masks in an attempt to do our small part in the fight against Coronavirus.
The most common way germs and viruses spread is through the transfer of bodily fluids i.e saliva. It could be from simply speaking to someone and having particles from their mouth travelling into yours, which is why the government guidelines have advised everyone to keep a 2-metre distance from one another. While practising social distancing is definitely a sound way to stay safe, one way that’ll limit the spread further is wearing a facemask. Facemasks trap foreign particles in their fibres, preventing them from reaching the cavity of your mouth and nose. Janson beauty is currently stocking two different types of mask, both equally as good but manufactured differently. One is the KN95/FFP2 Respirator Facemasks that come in a pack of 10 and the other is Surgical Facemasks that come in a pack of 50. They vary in shape but perform in the same way so whichever one you choose will keep you safe.
It is no secret that one of the easiest way germs and viruses like Covid-19 are transferred and spread amongst people is by touch and to combat this doctors and scientists have recommended the regular use of hand sanitizers. Hand sanitizers consist of up to 80% alcohol, which is what eliminates germs from the surface. We at Janson Beauty have 18 different types of hand sanitizers varying in alcohol strength, size, scent and as well as application style. A3 and Fantasia have launched hand sanitizing sprays making for an easy application whereas Yari, Skin Solutions, Sunsera, Lucky Hand and Kerr have opted for the more traditional form of sanitizer which is a gel-based formula. Both types do the job it’s just a matter of what method of application you prefer.
Another way to stay safe from the spread of germs via touch is to wear gloves, which is something we at Janson Beauty are strictly adhering to in order to remain as safe as possible. We have available black medical grade gloves that come in two different sizes: medium and large and come in a box of 100 pairs. It is much easier to throw on gloves when you have to take a trip outside in comparison to remembering to repeatedly use hand sanitizer.
Last but not least we have rubbing alcohol (70%) in stock, which has a number of different uses that can help prevent Covid-19 spreading. It can be used to disinfect surfaces as well as your hands. You can also use rubbing alcohol to make your hand sanitizer and customise it to your preference with essentials oils and the scent.
Covid-19 is not a joke and neither is your health so being careless is not an option. Janson beauty urges you to take all the necessary precautions to keep yourself and others safe during this Pandemic. We’ve outlined some of the items that can help you stay safe when you are outside but it is also imperative that you only make necessary trips as going outside is only giving you more exposure to this deadly virus.
